News of the XXIX Challenge 2020
637 kilometres are covered by bicycle in 4 days through various stages.
The feeling of flying over the tarmac and the land, with the aim of getting a different view of Mallorca, its villages, its treasures and its secret corners. Riding bit by bit through the Serra de Tramuntana until you discover the reason for its magic, charm and beauty.
The XXIX Playa de Palma Cycling Challenge Mallorca starts on the 30th of January with the Mallorcan bike tour that connects Ses Salines and Felanitx. This is followed by the second trophy of the Serra de Tramuntana, which starts in Sóller and Deià.
The team of La Pérgola, is celebrating a great novelty this year, with the third stage of the Cycling Challenge. This year the penultimate stage will start from Pollença and will end with an unprecedented finish in our favourite area, Port d'Andratx.
The sea, the land, the sky, the effort, the pleasure, the sport, the island and the 168.9 kilometres that separate Pollença from our neighbourhood Port d'Andratx will allow us to enjoy this new edition of the Challenge in a different way.
The 29th edition of the Challenge will also conclude with the now classic Playa de Palma Palma Trophy, with the traditional sprint on the capital's Paseo Marítimo.
23 teams that will have the honour of getting to know the most beautiful and free Mallorca, the Mallorca that moves away from postcards to become reality.
