Three excursions to do with children in Majorca
From La Pérgola we would like to recommend three excursions to do with children.
These excursions are easy and beautiful so that the little ones can learn the meaning of paradise from an early age. They will learn to love the land, to respect the environment and to take care of it.
1. From Binissalem to Biniagual
Easy, beautiful and perfect for families.
A flat and smooth walk of more or less two hours will lead us to one of the most special towns of Majorca.
The path, enriched with Mallorcan houses, open countryside, vineyards, sheep farms, pigs and horses, will enchant you.
The village of Biniagual is made up of two streets that form a T. The streets are paved and well-kept, a church, a wine cellar and gardens decorated with statues and stately effigies.
Peace and calmness dominate this small Mallorcan village and visitors, amazed by the silence.
2. Es Salt Des Freu
We tend to think that the best version of Mallorca is the one that looks towards the sea. The one that smells like salt and summer. But the truth is, that there is another side of this island that matches and sometimes surpasses in beauty to the known face.
The inland and mountain villages hide corners that could come out of a fairy tale. One of them is two kilometres away from Orient. Here begins one of the most fun excursions to do with the little ones: Es Salt Des Freu.
Downhills, climbs, small streams, stairs and a lot of adventure that will make the little ones walk 2 hours without hardly realizing it.
From a stone path to a river and from a river down the slope of the mountain that will take us to a paradise of waterfalls and natural pools.
Remember that you must be well prepared with dry clothes to change, mountain shoes, water and some snacks.
It may be the first contact of the little ones with nature.
3. Son Serra de Marina
Discover paradise in Mallorca.
An unspoilt spot that will remind you of the island we used to be.
Out of all the options, we have to visit Son Serra de Marina, we keep the least known. Climbing the dunes, crossing the stream and entering pine forests full of native Mallorcan flora and fauna.
The mouth of the stream of the Torrent de na Borges welcomes us as soon as we reach the beach. Ducks, frogs and other fauna hide in paths and undiscovered corners.
Besides, the wonderful views of Alcudia Bay will take your breath away.
