Real Cartuja Monastery
This monastery is probably the most emblematic building of the town of Valldemossa. This ancient royal palace was built in 1309. Inside the building you will find a beautiful vault church with Bayeu paintings, various rooms and art galleries such as the Archduke Luis Salvador's collection and the Rey Juan Carlos’s garden, a beautiful garden from where you can enjoy the best views of the valley of Valldemossa and the colorful bell tower of La Cartuja. Fréderic Chopin and George Sand Museum
Inside La Cartuja building you will find the cell number 4 where Fréderic Chopin and George Sand stayed in 1838. In this cell, nowadays turned into a museum, you will find the famous piano that Chopin sold to a Majorcan family and original documents collectedduring the stay of these two famous characters in the town of Valldemossa.
King Sancho’s Palace
In La Cartuja square, there is the entrance to this historic palace. It is said that this building was built on thefortress of an ancient Arab lord known as Mussa, which gave the name to the locality. The indoor of the palace is characterized by its decoration that reminds us of a traditional Majorcan lordly house. Miranda des Lledoners Viewpoint
It is one of the most iconic viewpoints of the Sierra de Tramuntana. From this fantastic viewpoint located at the end of Jovellanos street, you can enjoy beautiful views of the town of Valldemossa and its valley.
San Bartomeu Church
This Gothic church, whose construction began in 1235, has been transformed through different changes. Inside this church, you can find a central nave with its main altar and twelve chapels with beautiful altars.
Santísima Trinidad Chapel
This chapel is located 3 kilometres from the town of Valldemossa in a diversion road towards Deià (MA-10). The chapel is found in the Sierra de Tramuntana in the beautiful forest of Miramar between pine trees and oaks, where you will breathe peace, silence and serenity. In this place Ramón Llull founded the Miramar Monastery where he established the School of Oriental Languages in the 13th century.
