Christmas with children in Mallorca
The streets are adorned with colorful lights, the incredible smell of chestnuts and freshly made "buñuelos" from the markets and carols in the background: Christmas is coming. There is no doubt that Christmas is the time to take a break and relax, refresh yourself and enter the new year as best you can by celebrating with family and friends, and Mallorca offers endless activities for the whole family.

Decorate the Christmas tree
An activity for the whole family! On December 24th you can decorate Andratx's Christmas tree in Son Mas Avenue. It will have a decoration workshop, which will later be used to decorate the tree by all the participants. It is a perfect plan for the family and the children will be able to contribute, meet more children and spend a fun afternoon together with a delicious hot chocolate.
Ice Theme Park
Get your coats and gloves ready! From December 22nd to January 7th you can enjoy the only ice themed park on the island, which will have a large skating rink and a slide for the youngest members of the family. The 300 m2 of ice rink will ensure a fun family afternoon, and the youngest will be able to meet Santa Claus and "Rey Melchor". Best of all? Entrance and scooters are totally free for everyone.
Christmas Trains
Everyone on board! Touring the town by train with a Christmas atmosphere is really magical. There are several localities on the island that have decided to add this type of activity in their plans, including Palma, Manacor, and Inca, where you can get on board completely free by showing a receipt from one of the small shops involved in the campaign. It will undoubtedly be a unique experience for the children and in the same way you will contribute to a good cause: to support the local small shops.
Christmas Market
It should be noted that Mallorca has a wide variety of Christmas markets, so we decided to highlight the one in Andratx. As every year, this market is held in the Plaza de España where you can find many stalls and a wide range of typical products and sweets of the season, including "turrones" and other traditional German dishes, figures and wooden objects and workshops for children. You can visit it on the 16th December and it will also have musical performances that will cheer up the whole market.

A playground for children
One of the highlights of Christmas in Andratx is the "Parc de Nadal" especially dedicated to children. It has a great variety of inflatable castles, trampolines, games and workshops for the whole family, and starts in the first days of the New Year. During the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of January you will be able to experience one of the most anticipated events.
