Excursion to Torrent de Pareis and Sa Calobra
Who ever said that you have to choose between the mountains and the beach? We are sure that the person who dared to make such a bold statement did not know Mallorca.
This island is able to combine the best of both worlds and the Torrent de Pareis, natural monument of the Serra de Tramuntana, is one of the best and most tangible examples.
The Torrent de Pareis is a magnificent canyon created over the years by the confluence of two other torrents, the Gorg Blau and the Torrent de Lluc. Today, due to the erosion of the water, we can enjoy caves, ravines, gorges and sinkholes which, at the end of the route, flow into the Mediterranean Sea at one of the most special beaches on the island: Sa Calobra.
How to get to Torrent de Pareis?

There are different ways to descend the Torrent de Pareis: on foot for the more experienced, by private car or by bus. From La Pérgola, however, we recommend our favourite way to get to Sa Calobra: by boat.
Many companies set sail daily from the port of Sóller to Sa Calobra. The trip, which takes barely an hour, is one of the special experiences you can enjoy on Mallorca. A journey between steep, imposing cliffs and small hidden coves with crystal-clear water and with the incredible feeling of being in the middle of a postcard.
Moreover, when you arrive in Sa Calobra, a very special beach awaits you. The charm of the mountain next to a beach with clean, turquoise waters. The most natural side of an island that can satisfy even the most demanding palates.

From La Pérgola, we recommend that you make your way back to Puerto de Sóller as the sun sets behind the horizon. The colours of the sky and the tranquillity of the sea will make this a trip you will remember forever. A magical journey that creates unique memories.
Sea, mountains, boats, sunsets and one of the most envied Mallorcan postcards in the world.
Do you dare to experience it for yourself?
