1. Fraguels (Bunyola): This is one of the most famous and popular areas for climbing in Mallorca. In this rocky part of the Serra de Tramuntana, there are more than 70 different routes that allow you to climb every day of the year. Slabs, short endurance routes and overhangs will delight the most daring athletes.
You will find stalactites, slab slides and hole routes. Attention: There are very few routes for beginners and the few that are available tend to be too difficult. Therefore, this area is recommended for experienced climbers.
2. Calvià: If you are a beginner and want to gain confidence and improve your skills, Calvià can be your ideal place to climb. Located in the southern part of the Serra de Tramuntana, it is an ideal place for families and beginners as there are only sport routes. A place sheltered from the wind but not the sun: perfect before the sun starts to bite.
3. Port de Valldemossa: if you are one of those who always need the sea nearby, this is your ideal option. The sea breeze will give you the push you need to reach your destination. The Port de Valldemossa has four sectors and routes with many reglettes and slabs. There are also some small overhangs and roofs.
4. Sa Gubia (Bunyola): If you are with a heterogeneous group with different levels of ability, Sa Gubia is one of the best climbing areas on the island. There are routes of different difficulty levels that are ideal for beginners, but also for advanced climbers.
